NUTRACORP Expands Logistics Capacity: Third Location in Kaltenkirchen Creates Room for Further Growth of ESN and More Nutrition

Kaltenkirchen/Elmshorn, September 1, 2026. NUTRACORP GmbH, the production company of The Quality Group (TQG), is expanding its logistics infrastructure in northern Germany. With a third location in Kaltenkirchen, the company is increasing the area it operates there from around 16,000 to a total of 36,000 square meters. The additional capacity supports production for the TQG brands ESN and More Nutrition and creates the infrastructural conditions for their continued growth.

The new location takes on a central role within NUTRACORP’s production logistics: it supplies the nearby production facility in Elmshorn. The company also organizes transport between locations using its own trucks and teams. In doing so, NUTRACORP is bringing another key part of the supply chain in-house, creating the conditions to respond flexibly to rising production and logistics demands.

New Logistics Location Already 50 Percent Utilized After Five Weeks

How quickly the additional capacity is being needed is evident in the development at the new site:
“The fact that we had already filled around 50 percent of the new capacity with goods just five weeks after launch clearly shows the dynamic pace at which our production and logistics needs are developing. At the same time, it also shows how quickly and decisively we can drive change when it’s necessary for our business. We don’t wait to build structures until capacity is exhausted — we build the foundations for our continued growth ahead of time,” so Felix Köhler, Director Production Logistics.

From First Talks to Handover in Just Six Weeks

The leasing of the new site was also completed quickly: only six weeks passed between the first discussions with the landlord and the handover of the property, with contract negotiations concluded within four weeks. This rapid execution was made possible by close, collaborative teamwork between NUTRACORP, internal departments such as Legal and Finance, and the landlord.

With the expansion in Kaltenkirchen, NUTRACORP is also deliberately committing to its own logistics structures. Rather than outsourcing production logistics to an external provider, the company is building its own capabilities, infrastructure, and teams. The geographic proximity between the logistics location in Kaltenkirchen and production in Elmshorn allows for short distances and closely interlinked processes.

A Commitment to the Region and to Germany as a Business Location

With this expansion, NUTRACORP is also reaffirming its commitment to the region and to Germany as a business location. The company is deliberately continuing to expand its infrastructure in northern Germany, thereby also creating the conditions for additional jobs in the region.

Alongside its continued growth, NUTRACORP is also steadily building out its internal structures. This includes not only the development of its own teams and capabilities but also employee co-determination — with a newly elected works council in place since recently.

“For us, this step is more than just a capacity expansion. We want to enable our growth for the long term through our own strength, while at the same time investing in Germany. Proximity to our production, building our own logistics expertise, and creating additional jobs all belong together for us,” so Felix Köhler, Director Production Logistics.

With now three locations and a total of around 36,000 square meters of operated space in Kaltenkirchen, NUTRACORP is creating the infrastructural foundation for further development while strengthening the supply to production in nearby Elmshorn.
