From Social Media to the Mass Market: MORE at DMEXCO

How can a strong social media community be scaled beyond TV and premium video? General Manager Patrycja Nowakowska discussed this at DMEXCO together with Seven. One Entertainment Group.

Social media and creator partnerships built the MORE community. About a year ago, the next step followed: reaching people beyond the existing social media bubble, particularly women aged 18 to 49.

TV and premium video became an important addition to the existing media mix. The launch of MORE FIZI was the first major test.

An accompanying study by Seven. One Entertainment Group and PAYBACK showed impact across the entire marketing funnel: aided brand awareness increased by 162 percent, consideration by 150 percent and reported purchases by 193 percent.

What was particularly striking was the speed at which the impact of individual TV airings could be tracked. Seven. One’s tracking showed how individual spots translated into website visits within just a few minutes.

For TQG, this led to three key learnings: A strong community is the foundation, but it should not become a limit to growth. Success should not only be measured in terms of reach, but across the entire funnel. And product launches work best when media, marketing, sales and availability are considered together from the very beginning.

“With TV and premium video, we wanted to grow beyond our existing community and make MORE known to a broader audience.”

The case shows how digital brand strength can be combined with traditional and digital video channels and how important it is to think about brand building and measurable impact together.
